Faisalabad ( ) 3 talented students of Government College University Faisalabad made it to the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program conducted by the United States of America. 19000 students from across the country had applied under this program. 3 students of GC University were included in the top 50. Suman Anjum from Applied Psychology, Mashal Aslam from Zoology Department, Shifa Ijaz from English Literature Department. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Kamal congratulated the students for this wonderful achievement. He appreciated the performance of Professor Dr. Mazhar Hayat, Chairman of the Department of English Literature, Professor Dr. Salma Sultana, Chairperson of the Department of Zoology, and Professor Dr. Rabia Khawar, Chairperson of the Department of Applied Psychology. What has made the name of the organization famous at the global level? The Vice-Chancellor said in his message on the occasion that the success of the students shows that there is no substitute for dedication and hard work, students are our bright future and no reduction in their education and training will be allowed. He further said that the global recognition is a proof that we are moving in the right direction. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Mazhar Hayat, Chairman of the Department of English Literature, said that the success at the global level shows that there is no shortage of academic talent in GC University Faisalabad. The correct direction should be determined. Chairperson of Zoology Department Professor Dr. Salma Sultana while expressing her views on the success of the students of her department said that GC University students getting a position at the global level is a great way for the rest of the students as well. It has led to the improvement of the skills and recognition at the global level.
